Job description

We are looking for someone to provide gardening and assistance with maintenance at our properties and grounds to ensure that they are kept safe, secure and in good condition. Working to a high standard, in a safe and secure manner, whilst being sensitive to the needs of the staff and young people in the building.

Key Responsibilities
  • Can carry out a variety of planned and reactive gardening tasks, including upkeep of gardens, strimming, mowing, planting, weeding, tending to plants, leaf blowing, and keeping outdoor spaces clear of litter, moss, and debris.
  • Operating and maintaining gardening machinery.
  • Ensuring outdoor spaces are safe, secure, and maintained to a high standard.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Valid UK driving licence with access to a car.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a horticulture role.
  • Physical ability to lift and handle large/heavy objects, bend, reach, push, pull, load, unload, climb, and work safely at height, and ability to predominantly work on feet during working hours and throughout the day.
