An educational resource group is seeking a Temporary Games Design Technician for Hertford Regional College in Ware. You will support learning experiences in Games Design, maintaining a professional learning environment and managing technical resources. Candidates should have a L3 qualification in Games Design and experience working with 16-24 age groups. This role offers part-time hours during term time, commencing January 2026, focusing on enhancing student interactions and technical support.
We are recruiting a temporary Games Design Technician to work at Hertford Regional College to help deliver an outstanding learner experience and be inspirational to students at their state‑of‑the‑art facilities in Ware.

Based at the Ware Campus, the post holder will provide support to the delivery and growth of education in the Department for Creative Arts & Industries within the area of Art and Design – L4/5 and L6 Games Design. You will take instruction from the Program Managers Games Design.
You will maintain a professional and safe industry standard creative learning environment and manage and maintain technical resources. You will be responsible for the delivery and support of students' workshop inductions and skills workshops.
The hours offered are 11.30 am to 4.45 pm Wednesdays at the Ware Campus. The temporary contract commences January 2026 on an ongoing basis, term time only.
