Are you a recent graduate seeking some school-based experience in secondary schools? Are you considering a long-term career in education and teaching?

Our partnering secondary schools in Essex are seeking confident individuals who are passionate about education to work as Graduate Cover Supervisors. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on a flexible schedule, either full-time or part-time.

Responsibilities

The lesson will always be planned, and this will be provided in advance. It is your role as the Graduate Cover Supervisor to facilitate the class learning, manage classroom behaviour, record accurate registers, and provide a handover to the absent teacher.

Qualifications

• A degree or equivalent education.
• Experience working with young people or a willingness to learn.
• Leadership skills and confidence to lead a classroom of up to 30 students.
• A passion for education and providing the highest possible level of support to young people.
• Flexibility in schedule and adaptability to teach at multiple schools.
