We currently have a vacancy to join our highly successful team, as a multi-skilled Functional Skills Tutor for various projects including work‑based learners.
The role involves tutoring learners and assessing their work remotely via our online training portal and Teams, as well as delivering short sessions if needed to support skills gaps. Ideally, the candidate would be skilled across maths, English and ICT up to level 2.
This role will be mainly college based at our Farnborough campus but occasionally some travel may be required to local workplaces. Hours can be flexible for the right candidate but will be a minimum of 21 hours per week (3 days) with the opportunity for up to 37 hours per week (full time).
It is desirable for applicants to hold teaching or mentoring qualifications plus a level 3 in a relevant qualification, with a track record of working in the sector.
In addition, you need to be an enthusiastic and motivated individual who can engage with FE students to ensure that they reach their full potential.
