As a Functional Assessor, you'll help determine how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. Your assessments inform decisions on benefits such as Personal Independence Payment (PIP) or Work Capability Assessments (WCA) for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

Qualifications
  • Registered nurse with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration number.
  • At least 1 year of broad post‑registration adult or mental‑health nursing experience; recent hands‑on clinical experience is essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable using IT systems and writing detailed reports.
