We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Food Service Assistant to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. • Assist with the preparation and serving of meals and refreshments to residents, ensuring dietary requirements and preferences are met.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in dining areas and kitchen spaces, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Support the catering team in daily food service operations including setting up dining rooms and clearing away after meals.
• Engage with residents in a friendly and respectful manner to enhance their dining experience.
• Report any concerns regarding food quality, equipment, or resident welfare to the appropriate staff members promptly.
• Assist with stock rotation and storage to minimise waste and maintain freshness.
• Work collaboratively with care and catering staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
