Senior Full Stack Developer

Fully Remote - Within UK

6 months - Inside IR35

7.5 hours a day

BPSS Required before starting - SC Clearance will be started throughout the project so need to be elidable for both.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Developer to join a forward-thinking digital team delivering modern, user-focused services for public sector healthcare. You’ll be working on an established frontend toolkit and design system while contributing to a range of backend services.

What you’ll be doing :

• Developing new services primarily in Python, while supporting existing applications written in Java and .NET.
• Working with Oracle SQL PL to maintain and enhance current services.
• Collaborating on infrastructure and DevOps tasks using AWS, Azure, SQL Server, Postgres, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Supporting continuous deployment pipelines with automated testing and monitoring.
• Writing software using Test Driven Development (TDD) practices, creating automated tests before coding.
• Contributing to an open working environment with transparent codebases, thorough documentation, design histories, and product roadmaps.

What we’re looking for :

• Strong experience with Python backend development.
• Solid understanding of frontend frameworks and design systems.
• Proven experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and DevOps tools.
• Comfortable working in TDD environments and writing automated tests.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional teams.
