Your role

In this role, you\'ll get hands-on with designing and building cutting-edge web and mobile applications, ensuring they\'re fast, scalable, and easy to maintain. You\'ll collaborate with talented teams from a range of backgrounds and technologies, sharing ideas and expertise as you deliver solutions that truly empower our public sector clients. • Design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web and mobile applications using JavaScript, Node.js, and modern frameworks and libraries, with Angular as the preferred front-end framework.
• Collaborate with architects and fellow developers to create robust, scalable, and secure architectures for new projects and enhancements to existing systems, particularly those serving the public sector.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices.
• Contribute to improving our teams\' development processes, tools, and techniques to enhance productivity and product quality.

Your skills and experience

• Solid experience in full stack JavaScript development, with a strong emphasis on Node.js and server-side technologies.
• Expertise in Angular as the preferred front-end framework (experience with React or Vue.js also valued).
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Hands-on experience with at least one leading Node framework (Express.js, Nest.js, Hapi.js).
• Experience with TypeScript and modern development tools and practices.
• Background in Test Driven or Behaviour Driven Development.

Your Security Clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
