Responsibilities

• Design and develop bespoke Front Office applications supporting Equity Derivatives trading and structuring
• Deliver full-stack functionality, spanning: Backend services and APIs, Event-driven components, Real Time user interfaces for traders
• Work closely with traders, quants, and fellow technologists to translate trading requirements into robust production solutions
• Contribute to the evolution of scalable, low-latency architectures supporting flow and structured/exotic derivatives
• Take ownership of features from design through to deployment and production support
• Operate effectively in a trading floor environment, responding quickly to feedback and change

Overview

We are seeking experienced Full Stack Engineers with a strong background in Java and React, and deep exposure to Equity Derivatives products, to build bespoke, business-critical trading and structuring solutions. This is a Front Office aligned role, with engineers embedded directly on the trading floor, working side-by-side with traders and quants to deliver low-latency, high-impact systems across both flow and structured/exotic derivatives. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy operating close to the business, taking ownership of features across the full technology stack, and contributing in a fast-paced, iterative Front Office environment.

Qualifications

• Strong full-stack engineering background
• 5+ years' experience in a strongly typed language such as Java or C#
• Commercial experience with React building complex, data-driven UIs
• Around 1+ year of professional Python experience (in addition to Java/C# background)
• Experience building and supporting production-grade systems in demanding environments
• Comfortable working as a polyglot engineer, owning features end to end
• Note: This role favors engineers with a strong enterprise language foundation (Java/C#) combined with Python, rather than Python-only profiles.
