Front of House / Community Host (Maternity Cover)

Location: Central London
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Salary: £28,000PA

Role Overview

We are seeking a professional, friendly, and organised Front of House / Community Host to be the face of our client's building. This role is key to delivering a welcoming experience for members and visitors, maintaining high presentation standards, and supporting a strong community culture within the workspace.

Key Responsibilities
Front of House & Building Presentation
  • Managing the front desk and welcoming visitors and members
  • Handling incoming calls and emails professionally
  • Conducting regular building walks to ensure all areas are presented to a high standard
  • Ensuring meeting rooms are fully prepared, tidy, and stocked (including water/coffee)
  • Monitoring bookings and supporting meeting room usage
  • Checking show offices and maintaining top presentation standards
  • Supporting health and safety checks and compliance
Community & Events
  • Acting as a key point of contact for the building community
  • Proactively suggesting and supporting community initiatives
  • Assisting with workshops and events, including:
    • Monthly breakfasts
    • Social and networking events
    • Fitness classes
    • Seasonal activities
    • After-hours events (with time off in lieu where applicable)
General Duties
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the building
  • Working closely with General Manager as the main point of contact
  • Maintaining a professional and presentable front-of-house environment at all times
Working Pattern & Benefits
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Holiday entitlement: 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays (28 days total)
  • Time off in lieu for approved after-hours events
