Our Fresh Production Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for quality and innovation.

As the Fresh Production Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the fresh potato production line, ensuring that our products meet stringent quality standards and are delivered on time to our customers. Your leadership will inspire a team of dedicated professionals, and you will be at the forefront of our initiatives to continuously improve processes and product quality.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise the fresh production operations to ensure compliance with quality standards and production targets
  • Manage a team of production staff, providing guidance and support to foster a high-performance culture
  • Implement production schedules that maximize efficiency without compromising product quality
  • Work closely with the quality assurance team to address any quality issues and ensure product excellence
  • Monitor key production metrics and make data-driven decisions to enhance performance
  • Lead training and development programs for production staff to ensure a skilled workforce
  • Identify and implement cost-reduction measures and efficiency enhancements in the production process
Requirements
  • Significant experience in production management, preferably in the food industry with an emphasis on fresh produce
  • Demonstrated knowledge of food safety and quality assurance practices
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on motivating staff to achieve goals
  • Proficient in production planning, scheduling, and process optimization
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyse production data effectively
  • Experience of using ERP systems
  • Strong communication skills, able to liaise with various stakeholders and team members
  • Willingness to adapt to changing production demands and work flexible hours as required
  • Willingness to follow our backshift working pattern: Sunday to Thursday 16:00 - 01:00, Sunday 08:00 - 17:00, & every 3rd Saturday (job until finish)
