French & Spanish Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Teacher of French & Spanish to join an Ofsted Good school in the Birmingham area. The school is an 11-18 mixed comprehensive, which has a stable and supportive Modern Foreign Languages department, consisting of a good mix of experience dedicated to providing an excellent languages curriculum to their students.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and deliver creative and engaging French and Spanish lessons at KS3/KS4.
2. Inspire students to develop a love for languages and achieve their full potential in the subject.
3. Work cross-curriculum to promote languages and cultural understanding throughout the school.
4. Collaborate with colleagues within the department and across other subjects to integrate language learning into the wider curriculum.
5. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends.
6. Uphold the school's values and contribute positively to the school community.

Requirements:

1. A recognised teaching qualification with a specialism in French or Spanish.
