Role: Freight Forwarder

Location: Southampton

Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 (DOE)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Manage end-to-end international shipments across air, sea, and road freight
• Coordinate collections and deliveries with carriers, hauliers, and overseas partners
• Handle customs documentation and clearance procedures accurately and efficiently
• Track consignments, manage pre-alerts, and provide regular client updates
• Deliver outstanding customer service from booking to final delivery
• Oversee invoicing, job costing, and ensure all documentation is compliant

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 1 years' experience in UK freight forwarding
• Good knowledge of air OR sea OR road freight operations - training will be provided on any mode of freight you are not familiar with
• Confident understanding of customs processes and shipping documentation
• Experience using systems like Cargowise, Multifreight would be an advantage
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organisational skills
• A proactive, customer-focused attitude with the ability to manage multiple shipments
