Small family run Freight Forwarders with over 40 years in the business who have been fortunate enough to have such a good reputation that they have never advertised their services are seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder with customs experience to join their small but perfectly Intune company.

Do you thrive in the thrilling world of logistics where timing is everything and paperwork is your love language? Are you fluent in customs regulations, comfortable escorting fragile food products across borders, and able to submit an IPAFFS notification without crying? If phrases like CHED-D and GB health requirements don’t terrify you, we’re basically soulmates already.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage shipments end-to-end, from booking to delivery and all the chaos in between.
  • Handle customs entries with the confidence of someone who once read the entire HMRC manual for fun.
  • Submit IPAFFS notifications like the true import-health maestro you are.
  • Coordinate air, sea, and road freight—three modes, one hero (that’s you).
  • Keep food shipments compliant, temperature-controlled, and out of detention (the customs type, not school).
  • Maintain documentation so immaculate it could be framed in a museum of paperwork excellence.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, carriers, warehouses, and anyone else bravely involved in logistics.
  • Solve unexpected problems like “Why is this shipment on hold?” or “Who forgot the CHED?” without losing your cool.
What You Bring
  • Proven experience in start-to-finish freight forwarding.
  • Solid customs knowledge—bonus points if you know your HS codes better than your relatives’ birthdays.
  • IPAFFS experience (yes, real experience; yes, the system that crashes sometimes).
  • Expertise in handling food shipments: chilled, frozen, ambient, or panic inducing.
  • A calm attitude, even when someone says, “We need this cleared in an hour.”
  • Excellent communication skills and a healthy sense of humour (mandatory).
