Qualifications

• Proven experience in European freight forwarding (import/export) for a UK-based forwarder.
• Knowledge of customs formalities and documentation.
• A good understanding of the German, French, and Benelux markets is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee daily European road freight operations from booking to final delivery.
• Communicate with customers, hauliers, and overseas agents to coordinate shipments.
• Prepare and check documentation for customs clearance and compliance.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and system updates.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

An established and growing international freight forwarder is seeking a proactive European Road Freight Planner to join their Bradford-based team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with proven experience in road freight operations who enjoys taking ownership of the full transport process across Europe.

You’ll play a key role in planning and coordinating vehicle movements, managing customs requirements, and ensuring every shipment is delivered smoothly and efficiently. A good understanding of the German, French, and Benelux markets is highly desirable.

What You'll Be Doing

• Plan and oversee daily European road freight operations from booking to final delivery
• Communicate with customers, hauliers, and overseas agents to coordinate shipments
