Responsibilities
  • Drive new business and promote freight services to potential clients and existing customers.
  • Full account management from initial telesales through to delivery.
  • Grow gross profit and achieve targets as set out in the Account Manager Scheme.
  • Achieve sales productivity and revenue targets.
  • Provide a high level of internal and external customer care.
  • Provide customers with accurate and cost-effective quotations.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly figures of sales activity as instructed by the Branch Manager.
  • Generate new prospect leads and accounts via telephone and face-to-face interactions.
  • Engage in telesales, face-to-face selling (B2B), negotiations and presentations.
Qualifications / Experience
  • Experience in proactive telesales or cold-calling sales; outbound telesales experience preferred.
  • Experience generating own sales leads is beneficial.
  • Experience working to targets and KPIs.
  • GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above (or equivalent).
  • Strong administration and organisation skills.
  • Ability to influence others.
  • Full Driving Licence.
