Job summary

A leading ecological consultancy in London is seeking an experienced Ecological Consultant for ongoing contract work focusing on development-led projects. The role involves conducting field surveys, preparing ecological reports, and supporting Biodiversity Net Gain assessments. Ideal candidates will possess a degree in Ecology, have experience in ecological mapping, and hold a Level 1 bat survey licence. Qualifications

• Experience in report writing and ecological mapping.
• Level 1 bat survey licence; other licences welcomed.
• Experience with Biodiversity Net Gain assessments and UKHab.

Responsibilities

• Undertake field surveys including habitat and bat surveys.
• Conduct regular site visits and fieldwork as required.
• Prepare high-quality ecological reports and technical documents.
