Job Overview

A wonderful four‑day nanny position has become available in Farnham Common, Buckinghamshire. You will be looking after two happy and active children – a boy aged six and his little sister aged four. The parents regularly work from home, and this is a sole charge position. The children attend school each day.

Key Responsibilities

• Care for two children during Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday (07:30‑09:30 and 14:00‑19:00, 28 hours/week). Ad‑hoc babysitting may be required and will be paid as overtime.
• Prepare healthy and nutritious meals each day and assist with household tasks such as laundry, tidying and emptying the dishwasher.
• Oversee homework, stimulating indoor activities (games, reading, jigsaws, arts and crafts, singing, imaginary play) and encourage outdoor play, walks and trips.
• Drive children to and from school and activities with own fully insured car and clean licence. Duty mileage will be paid at current government rate.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years’ experience as a nanny or childcare provider.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (current) and 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid.
• Childcare qualification or relevant experience.
• Minimum of two professional referees, one of which must be your current or most recent employer, all immediately contactable.
• Own fully insured car and clean driving licence.

Working Conditions

• Permanent position with pay of £26,208 gross per annum plus overtime at £18 gross per hour.
• Pay for overtime (ad‑hoc babysits and extra days) separately and mutually agreed.
• Full‑time hours: 07:30‑09:30 and 14:00‑19:00, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (28 hours/week).
