A leading transport company in Welshpool is seeking a Forklift Operator to manage the loading and unloading of general freight in a busy depot. The ideal candidate will have a current Forklift Licence, a valid Driver's Licence, and experience in a transport environment. Key responsibilities include ensuring cargo is managed properly and meeting safety standards while loading trailers. This position offers competitive wages, flexible shifts, and opportunities for professional development.
KTrans are a leading Western Australian family owned and operated transport and logistics business operating with a focus of providing high quality end-to-end logistics solutions for our business partners. We are a diverse organisation and offer a variety of services including linehaul transport, bulk transport services, wharf cartage services, warehousing and distribution, and specialised transport solutions.
This position is not entry-level — we are looking for an operator with a proven track record in the transport industry, specifically in loading and unloading high volumes of general freight onto linehaul trailers in a busy depot environment. Much of the freight is mine-site bound and often over-dimensional, irregular, or heavy, requiring a high level of forklift operating skill, judgement, and safety awareness.
As our Forklift Operator, your primary responsibilities will include receiving, sorting, consolidating/manifesting, and loading/unloading general freight and containerised import/export cargo safely, in accordance with KTrans documented procedures and standards.
If you meet the criteria mentioned above and would like to be part of the team, please apply with your most updated CV and ensure all relevant tickets and licences are listed.
You can also email your application to ***********@ktrans.com.au
KTrans are an equal opportunity employer and encourage applications from women, Australian Defence Force Veterans and Indigenous and Torres Strait Islanders.
We would like to encourage people of all ages, backgrounds and cultures to apply!
