Job Title: Pallet Operative with FLT

Location: Rotherham

Shift Pattern: Early Days (Monday – Friday)

6am‑2.30pm Mon‑Thurs, 6am‑2pm Friday with a half hour unpaid break

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Pallet Operative with a valid Forklift Truck (FLT) license to join our client's busy distribution team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Off‑load incoming pallets from customers
• Load scrap and repair pallets for return to suppliers
• Clean and check pallets ready for production
• Monitor pallet stock levels to ensure sufficient supply for production
• Liaise with the Distribution Manager regarding pallet stocks
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping
• Achieve departmental targets and complete other reasonable duties as required

Person Specification:

• Previous experience operating a-md Forklift jal? (essential)
• Experience handling 4 pallets (desirable)
• Previous warehouse experience, ideally in an external environment
• Valid external Forklift Truck license
• Numerate and literate (GCSE or equivalent)
• Basic PC skills (desirable)
