Overview

We are looking for a skilled and reliable FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a well-established and busy team in the ST4 area of Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong forklift experience who are seeking long-term, stable night shift work.

Role Details
  • Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:30pm – 6:00am
  • Pay Rate: £14.58 – £15.21 per hour (dependent on experience)
  • Contract Type: Ongoing, full-time nights
  • Start Date: Following a successful interview and assessment
Responsibilities
  • Operating a Counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently
  • Loading and unloading vehicles, moving stock, and supporting warehouse operations
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with health & safety standards
  • Working as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines
Requirements
  • Must hold a valid external Counterbalance licence
  • Ideally 2 years' recent Counterbalance FLT experience in a busy warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing setting
  • A strong and consistent work history, showing reliability and commitment
  • Ability to work effectively on your own and within a team environment
  • Good communication and organisational skills
