A leading provider of custodial services is seeking a Forensic Psychologist in Training at HMP Doncaster. Here at Serco, we are looking for an FPiT to join us at HMP Doncaster, a Category B male establishment prison based in South Yorkshire.The operational capacity is 5 prisoners who are serving a range of sentences including trial, remand, those awaiting sentence and convicted men serving up to life in prison.
Joining our onsite team at this Category B prison, you’ll play a key role in delivering Psychological Services to our prisoners. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering Psychological Services at HMP Doncaster, however the role may also involve travel to other Serco-run sites. The role will be under the supervision of a Chartered Forensic Psychologist. Specific duties will vary and relate to functions across several different areas, however some of the main responsibilities of the FPiT are as follows :
