Qualifications

• Proven experience as a General Foreman with HVAC background.
• Strong knowledge of water infrastructure construction techniques and standards.
• CSCS card (Gold or Black), SSSTS/SMSTS certification desirable.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in working on large, complex, or high-security sites.

About the Role

Carmichael UK are looking for an experienced General Foreman with a strong background in HVAC systems to join a major infrastructure programme at Heathrow Airport. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of water-related construction activities within a highly regulated airport environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate site teams and subcontractors on HVAC packages
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and in accordance with project specifications.
• Oversee excavation, pipe laying, water main installation, drainage, and associated civil works.
• Monitor progress, productivity, and quality of workmanship.
• Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Liaise with engineers, site management, and client representatives to resolve issues on site.
• Maintain accurate site records, diaries, and reporting.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a General Foreman with HVAC background.
• Strong knowledge of water infrastructure construction techniques and standards.
