Job description
FOREMAN RIGGER

Location: Glasgow

UK-wide industrial company

This is not a title role. This is a working foreman position in heavy industrial environments.

You'll lead crews on complex rigging and machine moving projects across safety‑critical sites. You'll still be hands-on — but you'll also be the person setting standards, controlling risk and making sure the job is done properly.

What this role actually involves
  • Leading rigging and machine moving teams on live industrial sites
  • Taking ownership of RAMS, permits and site safety
  • Coordinating lifts, jacking, skidding and crane interface
  • Acting as the point of contact between site, crew and client
  • Working in environments where mistakes are not tolerated
What you'll need
  • Strong industrial rigging background
  • Proven experience leading teams on site
  • Solid safety mindset (COMAH / heavy industry experience preferred)
  • Relevant tickets (SSSTS / SMSTS beneficial)
  • Flexibility to travel and work away when required
This will suit you if
  • You lead from the front
  • You're calm under pressure
  • You don't need micromanaging
  • You care about doing things the right way

If you're looking for an easy ride, this isn't it. If you want responsibility, stability and respect - it might be.
