Job description

Norwich City Football Development is seeking an organised and proactive Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day running of our football development programmes across five counties. This is a varied, operational role supporting coordinators, coaches, parents, and facilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in administration, recruitment support, safeguarding administration, and programme delivery, helping ensure our centres are safely staffed, well organised, and operating smoothly.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day and reactive administrative support across programmes
  • Manage correspondence with parents, facilities, and coaching staff
  • Support payroll processes, timesheets, and staff records
  • Maintain accurate operational databases and documentation
  • Support coordinators to ensure centres are fully staffed
  • Assist with player and coach recruitment processes
  • Support scheduling, staff cover, and workforce coordination
  • Assist with safeguarding administration in line with FA and club procedures
  • Support record-keeping related to DBS checks, qualifications, and compliance
  • Act as an initial point of contact for safeguarding queries, escalating appropriately
  • Support coordinators with safeguarding processes and documentation
  • Act as a key parent liaison, managing enquiries and communication
  • Assist coordinators with workload management and organisation
  • Support the planning and delivery of Holiday football camps, UK and overseas tours, Football tournaments and events
  • Assist with facility bookings and relationships
  • Support event logistics and programme delivery across multiple counties
