Overview

Food Service Design Consultant ~ Specialising in stadia F&B systems | Food and Beverage Systems | F&B Operation Design

Food Service Design Consultant. We don't just design food and beverage spaces... We help create a sustainable guest experience.

Invito is seen as somewhat of a specialist in Stadia and arena design, covering every type of food and beverage service. Projects range from fast pour beer systems and chicken shop coffee shops to cafes, CPUs and Michelin-starred dining experiences. There are opportunities to work on training centres where you learn about design and how nutrition and mindset of a sports person can be supported, though you don’t meet the players.

As with all design consultancy work, we collaborate with wider design teams and direct clients, gaining knowledge from how spaces come alive in operation. We are increasing our focus on sustainability, working with clients and manufacturers to improve outcomes and push future outputs.

The Role

We’re looking for a Foodservice Design Consultant – or Technical Consultant – to join our team. This role would suit a designer from a kitchen house looking to influence the industry, or a technical designer seeking the next step.

Key Skills

• 3 years Experience in commercial catering Design
• Ability to design kitchens, bars, cellars from brief in AutoCAD and write specifications
• Communication with clients, working to a brief and hitting timelines
• Collaborating through Teams, ACC, etc.
• Reading data sheets and ensuring services are correct; double-checking with manufacturers when needed
• Working with the wider team and knowledge sharing
• Ability to review and markup drawings
• Revit is not essential, but a bonus if you can use it
• Understanding relevant legislation and whom to reach out to for assistance
• Awareness that design impacts end users at events

Responsibilities

• Designing catering outlets in both large and small venues
• Ensuring specifications and schedules are accurate
• Reviewing drawings and models before issuing them
• Ensuring all services drawings and schedules are accurate
• Collaborating with the wider Design team
• Conducting site visits working closely with clients and design team members
