Overview

Are you an experienced Food Technology teacher looking to take your career to the next level? Academics are currently working alongside a school in Wakefield who are looking for a Food Technology teacher for a September start. This position will run until December 2025 with the possibility of an extension. The school pride themselves on helping students fulfil their academic potential. The students are ambitious, and many aspire to become school leaders. Previous Ofsted reports have praised the school for setting high behaviour expectations and for providing support to SEND pupils.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and practical lessons to students across KS3 and KS4
  • Track students\' progression and provide constructive feedback to help them develop their skills
  • Share ideas with other members of the Food Technology department to further develop the curriculum
  • Create a structured and safe learning environment
