Are you passionate about Food Technology and ready to make a real difference? We are seeking a Food Technology Teacher to join a forward-thinking, vocationally minded school for Year 9-11 students. This is a full-time, long-term (turning permanent) position that offers the chance to teach in a dynamic, real-world learning environment.

About the Role: Food Technology Teacher

As a Food Technology Teacher, you will:

  • Teach Food Technology to students in Years 9-11, delivering engaging and practical lessons.
  • Develop a curriculum that reflects our four principles: Industry, Enterprise, Rigour, and Partnerships.
  • Use industry-standard equipment and vocational teaching methods to prepare students for post-16 life and the wider world of work.
  • Encourage and develop entrepreneurial thinking in your students through hands‑on work, enterprise projects, and real workplace simulation.
  • Support students' personal development and behaviour by helping them understand their personal responsibilities within the world of work.
  • Work closely with local industry partners to enrich the learning experience and provide students with meaningful career pathways.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality education, ensuring students make strong progress in both vocational and core subjects.
