Job Description

Grosvenor Casino, Portsmouth

As an F&B Host, you will be the face of our business, greeting and entertaining customers to ensure they feel welcomed and cared for. Your passion for people will help create a memorable and engaging atmosphere, exceeding guest expectations.

You will serve as an ambassador of exceptional hospitality, understanding and delivering service standards communicated through induction and ongoing initiatives.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Providing friendly, efficient, and prompt food and beverage service, ensuring product quality.
  2. Being customer-focused to ensure guests have an amazing experience and wish to return.
  3. Staying informed about current promotions and products to enhance guest experience.
  4. Replenishing stocks to maintain product availability.
  5. Promoting Grosvenor Membership cards and digital offers during interactions.
  6. Contributing to daily/weekly targets positively.
  7. Displaying enthusiasm and responding politely to customer requests.

Qualifications include:

  1. A positive attitude.
  2. Experience in hospitality roles.
  3. (Preferred) Experience in multifaceted roles.
  4. A passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
  5. Strong communication skills.
  6. Adaptability to change and new ways of working.
  7. Flexibility to work shifts at any time, including weekends and bank holidays.
