Food & Beverage Administrative Assistant - Six Senses London

Duties and Responsibilities

As F&B Administrative Assistant, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of:

  • Greeting visitors and callers, handling inquiries, and directing them to the appropriate persons according to their needs.
  • Having a good knowledge of all outlet menus (food and wine) and F&B daily activities.
  • Maintaining efficient administration within the department, preparing and submitting operational reports on time.
  • Operating office equipment.
  • Composing, typing, and distributing meeting notes, routine correspondence, and reports.
  • Reviewing work done by others to check for correct spelling and grammar, ensuring company format policies are followed, and recommending revisions.
  • Being fully conversant with all health and safety, fire, and emergency procedures.
  • Ensuring all equipment of the department is kept clean and in good working condition.
  • Upholding Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation, maintaining and exceeding performance benchmarks.
  • Strictly adhering to LQA standards and guest comments.

Qualifications

To execute the role of F&B Administrative Assistant, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role within luxury hotels, with proven results, including:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and at least 3 years of experience at a resort, hotel, or similar setting. A hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
  • Familiarity with food and beverage terminology, application, operation, wine service, costs, menu development, food and hygiene codes, and inventory control.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are preferred.
