As a Food and Beverage Assistant, your responsibilities will include supporting residents with choosing their meal options, ensuring the dining tables are set according to standard operating procedures, keeping the front of the house clean and well-presented, replenishing fresh cakes, biscuits, and fruit, and being aware of residents' dietary requirements.

To succeed in this role, you should demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene, have experience working in a similar setting (desirable), and possess a basic Food Hygiene Certificate (beneficial). Additionally, you should show compassion and commitment to delivering culinary services to residents.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
A DBS Disclosure check is required, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare. Proof of eligibility to work in the UK is also required.
