Job summary

A large healthcare provider in North Wales is seeking an enthusiastic Health Visitor to join their Flying Start team. This role involves managing a caseload, conducting assessments, and contributing to public health initiatives aimed at improving community health outcomes. Candidates must have a relevant degree and current NMC registration. Experience is preferred but newly qualified applicants are welcome. The position is on-site in Flintshire and requires effective communication and multi-agency collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must hold a degree or equivalent in Health Visiting or be on a current SCPHN Health Visiting course.
  • Experience is preferable but may be newly qualified.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of families and conducting assessments.
  • Developing and implementing care plans.
  • Facilitating group and community activities.
  • Contributing to public health programmes and safeguarding children.
  • Collaborating with other agencies to improve health outcomes.

Skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work autonomously
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Proven skills in motivating and influencing others
Basic IT skills to include WORD and email
MECC

SCPHN Health Visitor Post graduate diploma or Certificate
