Job Title: Warehouse FLT Driver

Type: Part Time

Location: Witham, Essex

Salary: £12.68 to £51.21 per hour

Hours: Friday 08:00‑18:00 / Saturday 06:00‑14:00 / Monday 08:00‑18:00

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Applicants must have worked in a logistics/warehouse environment before and have previous loading/unloading vehicles and experience of operating Counterbalance Forklift truck.
• Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driving licence is essential.
• Previous experience in loading international groupage trailers would be an advantage.
• Order pick and stock count.
• Basic numeracy, literacy and computer skills.
• Ability to function well as part of a team.
• Diligent attention to detail and attention to safety.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Punctual, reliable and professional.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• The role will entail the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of all customers' goods to ensure they are received and dispatched appropriately and productivity to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Unloading and loading cargo to and from warehouse and vehicles by using a forklift truck, pallet truck VNA MHE or by hand.
• Loading international groupage trailers in accordance with loading plans.
• Pick and pack orders to ensure they are delivered on time and in full.
• Wrap and unwrap of goods.
• Stock management.
• Check loads for damaged or missing items upon receipt.
• Keep careful records of everything that comes in and goes out of the warehouse.
• Daily housekeeping within the Warehouse and site.
