Job description

Salary: £12.39 per hour

Hours: Flexibank

Location: ellenor Hospice, Coldharbour Road, Gravesend, DA11 7HQ

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join an innovative and caring professional charity, based in Gravesend, as administrative support for our Finance Team.

You will be responsible for a wide variety of finance administration work, including liaising with clients, preparing and processing data on software packages, as well as the general running of the Finance office administration.

This would ideally suit a person with good communication skills, an attention to detail and accuracy and a willingness to learn. Experience of iplicit or similar finance software and Microsoft Office would be desirable.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Supporting the processing and inputting of customer orders, invoices, payments and statements, staff expenses and payments
  • Support the management of the coding, input, calculation and authorisation of supplier invoices and staff/volunteer expense claims
  • Reporting and reconciliation of various items
  • Support the team with preparation of monthly management accounts, statutory year end accounts and regulatory reporting
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers and staff on finance queries
  • General running of office administration
What we’re looking for:
  • Great communication skills, both written and oral
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Experience using MS Office is desirable
  • Experience of using iplicit or similar finance software is desirable
