Job description
The Role

Join us as an apprentice in the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars fleet workshop, where you’ll work on some of the most luxurious and technically advanced vehicles in the world. You’ll be part of a skilled team, helping to maintain and repair these exceptional cars to the highest standards that Rolls-Royce is known for.

Your apprenticeship will be unique because you’ll receive training through Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Training Academy. Where you will attend technical training courses alongside other apprentices, learning the latest automotive technology and techniques. In addition, you’ll get specialist training where you’ll gain hands-on experience with the craftsmanship and precision that make Rolls-Royce so special.

Over the course of three years, you’ll split your time between classroom learning and practical workshop sessions, working on the latest Rolls-Royce vehicles and cutting-edge diagnostic equipment. This combination will give you the skills and confidence to excel in this highly skilled role.

What You’ll Learn and Do
  • Maintain, service, and repair Rolls-Royce fleet vehicles to the highest standards
  • Work with advanced drivetrains (HV & ICE engines), bespoke electronics, and specialist diagnostic & Programming systems.
  • Gain Knowledge and experience supporting marketing & sales events where Rolls-Royce vehicles are showcased
  • Develop your skills under the guidance of a mentor and regular support from Rolls-Royce training teams

A large amount of the role will entail individual (but supervised work), which contributes to that of the team. Useful skills and qualities are as follows:

  • Honesty, reliability, and a strong willingness to learn
  • The ability to work well in a busy team environment, but also take initiative and work independently when needed
Required Qualifications
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, Maths, and one other subject, with grades A*-C/9-4 (or predicted)

You will learn all you need to do this role at college and in the workplace. For this reason, you do not need a qualification, or experience in sewing to apply. An interest in the profession or making things is strongly advised.
