Your future role
Join us in shaping the future of rail travel. Based at East Ham Maintenance Depot, you’ll support the newly commissioned Class 720/6 Aventra and Class 357 Electrostar fleets, playing a pivotal role in ensuring their safety, reliability and performance. This is your opportunity to make a real impact on the passenger experience and the efficiency of modern rail systems.
In this role, you’ll oversee the design, development and maintenance of rolling stock to ensure compliance with safety, performance and regulatory standards. You’ll mitigate safety and reliability risks, conduct root‑cause analysis and define long‑term solutions. Collaboration is key – you’ll work closely with designers, manufacturers, suppliers and operators to manage projects from concept through to completion. You’ll also identify and implement safe, cost‑effective containment measures and countermeasures for product safety issues, ensuring accurate reporting and timely resolution.
