Job summary

A leading fire engineering firm is seeking a Project Manager to deliver fire sprinkler projects in Manchester. The role involves leading project meetings, managing client communication, and ensuring all project documentation is completed. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and experience in managing large projects in the construction industry. A valid SMSTS and CSCS card is required, along with excellent organizational skills. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

  • Experience in managing complex, large budget projects in the construction industry.
  • Practiced at management of on-site labour & resources.
  • Extensive knowledge of production of project documentation eg. RAMs, Quality Plans.

Responsibilities

  • Leading project Initiation / handover meetings with all stakeholders.
  • Communication with clients throughout the life of a project.
  • Completion and submission of all end-of-project documentation.

Skills

Working knowledge of BS EN 12845
Working knowledge of engineering drawings
LPCB Testing & Commissioning Module 2 Competent
LPCB Site Inspection Module 1 Competent
Knowledge of CDM Management Principles
Familiarity with the principles of Prince 2 project management
Commercial acumen
Familiarity with all standard MS office applications

Education

Valid SMSTS & CSCS Card Holder
