Our client is a well-established asbestos consultancy who, due to continued expansion is now looking for a hard-working and experienced Fire Risk Assessor based in and around the Reading area to join their team. Applications from Bracknell, Basingstoke, Newbury, Maidenhead and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Must hold the NEBOSH Fire Certificate or NEBOSH Fire Conversion – ISE/IFSM/IFPO/IFE registered or Fire trained‑NVQ levels.
  • Have a solid consultancy and technical background within the fire industry.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.
  • Extensive experience of undertaking fire risk assessments.
  • A good working knowledge of Health & Safety procedures.
Role
  • Undertaking Fire Risk Assessments and Health & Safety Risk Assessments in various industry sectors, including commercial, industrial and residential.
  • Fire plan drawings, fire drills, fire warden and fire training, use of extinguishers, briefings etc.
  • Experience of working on a wide range of properties including commercial, industrial and public sector.
  • Providing Fire and Safety Guidance and investigating incidents.
  • Producing concise fire risk assessment reports.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Health & Safety legislation in regards to fire.
  • Dealing with issues effectively and appropriately.
  • Maintaining a strong working relationship with a large portfolio of clients.
