Job description

Our client is a leading fire protection company providing fire detection and suppression equipment and is expanding. Staffbase has been appointed to recruit for the position of Fire Extinguisher and Alarm Engineer.

OTE £42K - £48K per annum

Role:

You will operate as a field service engineer and be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance and inspection of fire extinguishers and alarm systems in the South London area.

• Repair and fault find fire suppression and alarm systems.
• Replace failed and faulty devices.
• Replace extinguishers and Fire Safely Ancillary products, emergency signage, etc.
• Upsell and cross‑sell Fire Safely Ancillary Products.
• Schedule your own works daily/weekly.

Candidate:

• At least three years experience as a Fire Extinguisher or Alarm engineer.
• BAFE certified for work on fire extinguishers.
• Hold a UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points.
• Opportunity to train and upskill to become a fire alarm and emergency lighting engineer.
