Allsaved is a growing fire protection company delivering trusted, practical, fire safety solutions across a wider range of sectors, from utilities to commercial and residential.

We are expanding our Fire Engineering department as we continue to take on large‑scale fire strategy projects, and we are looking for an experienced Fire Engineer to help lead this exciting next phase.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee fire strategy projects through all stages – from concept design through to detailed design, construction and handover.
  • Develop and review fire safety strategies, risk assessments, and compliance reviews for a variety of building types (commercial, residential, and utilities). Experience of BAFE SP205 auditing.
  • Provide expert guidance on UK fire safety legislation, Approved Document B, BS 9999, and other relevant standards.
  • Act as technical lead to embed fire safety solutions across all design stages.
  • Mentor and support junior and mid‑level fire engineers, reviewing technical output and helping to develop their technical and professional skills.
  • Contribute to business development, support tender submissions, attend client meetings if and when needed, and help grow client relationships.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory changes, best practices, and innovations within the fire engineering industry.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years experience in fire engineering, ideally with exposure to a variety of sectors (commercial, residential, utilities, or infrastructure).
  • Relevant degree in Fire Engineering, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Chartered or working towards Chartered Engineer status (MIFireE or similar).
  • Strong understanding of fire engineering design principles, fire strategy development, and fire modelling.
  • Experience in AutoCAD and other relevant design / modelling tools such as BlueBeam.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly to clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership qualities with experience in mentoring or managing others.
