A leading fire safety services company is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer to deliver high-quality service and maintain compliance with UK fire safety legislation. Candidates should possess Level 3 qualifications in Electrical Installation, knowledge of British Standards, and a valid UK driving license. This position offers a basic salary of £35,000 to £40,000 with potential earnings up to £60,000.

Qualifications

• Must have Ofqual Level 3 or Firequal Level 6 Fire Industry Qualification.
• Required Level 3 City & Guilds Electrical Installation qualifications or equivalent.
• Sound knowledge of British Standards including BS5839-1:2025 is needed.

Responsibilities

• To service and maintain fire alarm and emergency lighting systems.
• Complete engineer service reports correctly.
• Report deficiencies or deviations in systems.
• Participate in the out of hours call out rota.

Skills

Ofqual Level 3 or Firequal Level 6 Fire Industry Qualification

Level 3 City & Guilds Electrical Installation qualifications or equivalent

Sound knowledge of British Standards including BS5839-1:2025

Knowledge of analogue addressable and conventional fire alarm systems

Full UK driving licence
