Overview

Our client, an independent and leading provider of bespoke private wealth, corporate administration, and yacht services, is seeking a Financial Reporting Accountant. This full-time position is integral to the central services team, offering the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across a global network. Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting, this role will focus on supporting the consolidation and external reporting processes across the Group, making it ideal for those with a strong background in financial reporting and audit management.

Job Duties / Responsibilities
  • Preparation of monthly Group consolidation.
  • Managing and reconciling intercompany transactions and balances.
  • Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of relevant accounting standards to ensure compliance in the Group's financial reporting.
  • Assisting on technical accounting matters.
  • Supporting the design and implementation of group policies and procedures essential for financial reporting.
  • Reviewing ledgers as part of the quality control function.
  • Assisting with statutory audit and accounting processes, including preparing audit files and responding to queries.
  • Contributing to the preparation of interim and annual consolidated financial statements.
Job Requirements / Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
