A global aerospace and defense leader is seeking a Financial Controller in Edinburgh. This role involves managing financial reporting for the UK entity, leading a finance team, and ensuring compliance with legal standards. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with strong technical and interpersonal skills. We have a great opportunity for a Financial Controller to provide leadership, management, consolidation and reporting activities for the UK entity and its divisions.
The Financial Controller would work directly for the VP Financial Control & Group Reporting and provide strategic planning, financial reporting, advice and support to the Divisional / functional finance leads / teams to support all reporting requirements. This would own and maintain the governance of our reporting systems, ensuring all financial reporting demands are understood to support our monthly, quarterly, yearly reporting requirements. You would also need to ensure the data that underpins management, group or statutory reporting is coherent / robust and validated.
