The Role As Group Finance Manager

You will lead financial planning and analysis, manage a high-performing team, and partner with senior leadership to drive commercial performance. The role combines technical expertise with strategic input, making it ideal for someone looking to broaden their impact beyond core accounting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
  • Deliver insightful variance and trend analysis for senior leadership
  • Build and enhance financial models to support decision-making
  • Provide commercial insight to operational teams to improve profitability
  • Manage, mentor, and develop finance team members
  • Support financial due diligence and post-acquisition integration
  • Utilise SQL and advanced Excel to analyse complex datasets and develop dashboards
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and external reporting standards
  • Contribute to month-end and year-end close activities

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
