Reporting to the CFO and supervising a small Finance team, the Financial Controller will join the organisation at a time of significant change, which in turn, will presenting an exciting challenge. This key leadership role involves overseeing all financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, budgeting, and compliance within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in driving financial strategy and supporting operational efficiency, fostering strong relationships across departments.

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with UKGAAPand internal accounting policies
  • Oversee general ledger, accounts payable / receivable, and payroll accounting
  • Manage internal and external audits and coordinate with auditors
  • Develop and maintain standard costing systems
  • Analyse variancesand recommend corrective actions
