Do you want to help build a streaming service that carries the iconic MGM brand name? Are you interested in helping to shape the international media and entertainment landscape? MGM+ International is a movie and series streaming service that is wholly-owned and operated by Client. The service offers programming that is curated to align with the MGM brand. This means everything from MGM catalogue classics such as Rocky, Legally Blonde, and Stargate, to current cinematic and sophisticated hits such as Outlander, The Great, Power, and much more. MGM+ Int'l is currently available in 32 countries outside the US.
MGM+ Int'l is seeking a Financial Analysis and Insights Analyst for a 9 to 12-month mission. This professional will help MGM+ Int'l conduct key data-driven analysis in order to support strategic decision-making and optimize business performance. Additionally, this individual will help MGM+ Int'l transition to using new Business Insights tools by creating relevant data visualization dashboards that meet the team's varied business requirements and objectives. The position is based in London but works with teams all over the world.
Key Job Responsibilities:
• Support strategic business decision-making by turning raw data into critical information that can be analysed, while informing metrics / KPIs and financial forecasts
• Design and implement scalable QuickSight dashboards that track key performance indicators for subscriber growth, content consumption, financial reporting, and marketing campaign effectiveness across different international markets
• Educate and train the team in self-serving using these dashboards, gather feedback on missing functionalities and implement upgrades as required
• Create customized reporting solutions and support ad hoc analyses that allow the international team to monitor and compare the performance of various territories, enabling data-driven decision-making for content acquisition and marketing resource allocation
Basic Qualifications:
• self-starter with a background in supporting financial analysis, marketing analytics, subscriber analytics and/or content strategy, who can work independently to develop and customize dashboards for multiple territories
• engineering professional with 3 years' experience in analyzing and interpreting data using BIE tools, particularly Client QuickSight, Redshift, SQL
• n individual with excellent written communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross functional teams that have varying levels of technical expertise and international reach and translating business needs into actionable product requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
• Deep passion and knowledge of media and entertainment landscape, including strong understanding of streaming landscape and respective content offerings
