• 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
• Experience with databases, SQL-based languages, and the use of investigative tools on datasets.

• Experience in developing strategies in fast-paced engaged environments, impeccable business judgment for resource allocation decisions to achieve the desired business outcome.

As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. While working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to solve big picture challenges.

In this role you will partner with Global and Regional teams across the business and finance to shape the direction of the EMEA devices and services business, while ensuring sound financial decisions for Google. You will develop an understanding of Google's devices and the ecosystem they operate in.

From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales operations to set quotas, measure performance and ensure accuracy of financial reporting to business and global finance.
• Lead monthly profit and loss reporting, including performance reviews with leadership across partnerships. Analyze insights on country and product performance and provide recommendations to shape investment decisions and long-term strategy.
• Develop tools and data infrastructure to communicate business performance to a range of audiences, including executive management, simply and efficiently.
• Initiate and implement global process improvement initiatives for finance, including shaping the global system and data infrastructure agenda, drawing on automation/process expertise as well as AI.
• Manage core finance processes such as month end close, budget management and annual planning. Act as a finance business partner to advise on strategic direction and cost allocation.
