Job description

Overview

We are looking for a part time Financial Accountant to join our cheerful team, working 25-28 hours.

Responsibilities

The post holder will work closely with the CFO and be primarily responsible for the preparation of the statutory filings of the Charity, including the Annual Report & Financial Statements and various tax returns. They will be a key contact for the external auditors whilst overseeing the year-end audit and ensuring that the appropriate accounting policies and standards are followed throughout the year, under the Charities SORP (FRS 102).

They will additionally assist the Management Accounts team with the production of monthly management reports and annual budgets, while ensuring that appropriate records are kept and policies followed, in line with the relevant accounting standards.
