• Proven experience in financial accounting and month-end close activities.
• Strong attention to detail for balance sheet reconciliations.
• Exposure to statutory year-end packs and audit processes required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
• Own balance sheet reconciliations.
• Coordinate close timetable tasks with finance teams and stakeholders.
• Produce monthly management reports with variance analysis.

Skills

Proven experience in financial accounting

Strong balance sheet reconciliation skills

Exposure to statutory year-end packs

Experience with tax providers

Advanced Excel skills

Solid knowledge of UK GAAP

Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW
