SF Recruitment are working exclusively with a large, fast paced and dynamic business in the recruitment of a Financial Accountant.

This is a new role due to growth that would suit a first move from practice to industry, particularly with audit experience within a top 10 firm of accountants

We are seeking a qualified accountant to join a good sized team, reporting directly to the FC. Within the business there is excellent opportunity for development and progression.

Based in Solihull with hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 from home).

Key duties will include:
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts comprising income statement, balance sheet and cash flows
  • Preparation of annual Budgeting and Forecasting activities including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow projections
  • Preparation of monthly board packs and quarterly 'Performance Review' documents undertaking reviews with stakeholders as appropriate
  • IFRS16 reporting to Group
  • Management of Intercompany reporting
  • Annual Statutory Accounts for 4 legal entities
  • Manage the year-end audit process for all legal entities
  • Undertake reviews and publish of company-wide policies and procedures to support financial processes and controls, challenging the norms to ensure best practise.
  • Complete comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Supporting with capex investment appraisals
  • Posting of Payroll and reconciling associated control accounts
  • Overhead reporting, liaising with key management to assess variances to budget

Salary to £60,000 + bonus and excellent benefits. 2 days per week office based.
